  Ed and Rural Route made my purchase one of the best of any car new or used I have ever purchased. I actually flew into the nearby Marion airport from St. Louis and Ed picked me up and brought me over to his lot. The car was as described and exactly as expected. When it came time to do the paperwork there were no surprises at all and the price out the door was the price we agreed upon on the phone. I had a small issue with registration in Missouri and Ed really stepped up and chased down some hard-to-find old lien release documents from a loan company that had gone out of business. I found Rural Route an extremely honest, up-front, straight-forward, and reputable car dealer. I would absolutely buy from them again.

  The entire experience of buying a car here was extremely enjoyable. Our first stop of the car shop was at Meyer Honda. The salesmen there used sketchy tactics, such as telling us there was another person looking at the exact same car right as we were leaving and not letting us see the total price of the car until we agreed to buy that car that day, the first day our car shopping. Ridiculous.
  
  Ed, the owner, was extremely pleasant to talk with and he was not pushy whatsoever. He spent valuable time with us and even stayed open later to make the sale for us and worked with our bank which was causing issues. He gave us a great price and worked with us on every step of the day. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a car to go there.
